Standard overview
ISO 15118 defines the family of high-level communication interfaces between an electric vehicle and charging equipment. It matters to V2X because it gives independently developed systems a common technical contract. Related radio, networking, message, security, charging, or conformance standards still have to be implemented together where the complete system requires them.
