How LTE-V2X works
The approved explanation should connect physical systems, communications, data, security, and operating responsibility.
LTE-V2X is the first standardized cellular V2X generation, introduced through 3GPP Release 14. Its PC5 sidelink supports direct communication outside normal cellular coverage, while the cellular interface supports network services. LTE-V2X remains a deployed C-V2X technology and is designed to coexist with later NR-V2X capabilities rather than being interchangeable with them.
